Completed walkthrough and reviews of Personnel Files of prospective faculty and students. Tomorrow will begin the first in-person interviews for staff. This is the beginning of a fulfillment of a dream. I worked as a doctor for years, but it broke my heart to see young kids shunned by parents who couldn't believe their children were mutants. This was devastating to me and I vowed to do something about it. It took me years to build contacts within the Medical community as well as some contacts within the Child Welfare Department, and Department of Human Resources. Next week will see the arrival of some of the children recommended for placement here. I asked specifically for older teenagers, I hope they will take the advice and instruction that the staff gives. Most of the staff we've chosen to interview all have broad backgrounds, it's my goal that different children will to them as mentors. I pray this experiment works, mine is not the first school like this, and I've heard there are others across the world, but most of us are hiding our presence and keeping a low profile.

I heard a news report today about a bill that would force mutants to register, right now it's voluntary but I hate to think about the ramifications that may occur if it becomes mandatory.

I think that's enough for today, I am excited to see what the future holds for Haven. I wonder if Rebecca ate the rest of that extra cheesy, cheese pizza.
