Mission: News Reports [don't use]

In a dramatic showdown between a group of mutant heroes and a trio of jewelry thieves, a group successfully thwarted a heist last night. The daring rescue mission unfolded as the masked heroes confronted the criminals attempting to flee with stolen jewels.

This marks the end of the Speedsters who go by the name Daughters of Iris, also known individually as Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby. The sisters were using the money from selling the stolen jewels to help support the Mutant Right's Organization Sons of Prometheus.

In a Press Conference this morning the Mayor lauded the efforts of these unknown mutants but warned that vigilantism would not be condoned in his city. He is directly quoted as saying, "We pay taxes and have a Police Force for a reason. We don't need masks running amok in the City of New Orleans.

The following clip was taken from a business across the street and though the figures are barely discernable to their incredible speeds there is a lone figure that stands still long enough to be identified. With her feline features, it is believed to be the mutant known as Animagus. Though this has not been confirmed, detectives are following up any leads related to the identification of her and the other mutants.

These events serve as another testament to the growing presence of superpowered individuals taking on the mantle of heroes to protect the city from crime.

"This is Miles Newsletter, signing off once more, Have a Good Day New Orleans," Miles said as the news studio disappeared and was replaced by an infomercial.
